History of Go to Gym Sportswear as a Service
On November 21, 2016, in the city of Barranquilla, Colombia, the company Friends N Gifts S.A.S. was born, starting as a mobile e-commerce application for the digital transformation of giving and receiving gifts.
The entrepreneurs who started this project were Juan Manuel Goenaga and Margarita Alzamora. At that time, both wanted to create a technology-based digital business model that would bring well-being to people. In 2018, Friends N Gifts enrolled in the Founder Institute's entrepreneurship accelerator, where they began to deeply understand how a digital business model is developed. They discovered that knowledge is key to developing a business model and that focusing on the future brings opportunities. "Blue Oceans."
The name Go to Gym Sportswear as a Service was created on December 27, 2019, as a pivot from Friends N Gifts and is aligned with one of the eight predictions of the World Economic Forum for 2030: "All products will have become services."
In the years 2020 and 2021, work was done on building solid foundations for growth. Go to Gym University was created, where the company's internal and external clients learn soft and hard skills, learn to learn, think for themselves, strengthen intellect and curiosity, all for their well-being and that of humanity.
